Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) has the oldest academic tradition in Romania and currently represents the largest academic community in the country. Since its foundation in 1581, UBB has been part of the gallery of prestigious and referential universities, during the past 5 years being ranked first in the country.
The School of Sociology and Social Work (FSAS) offers academic qualifications in the fields of Sociology, Anthropology, Human Resources and Social Work, both in Romanian and Hungarian. Since its establishment as a distinct academic structure (2001), the School has numerous cooperation agreements within the Erasmus, COST, FP7, Horizon frameworks.
